RED DELICIOUS - This strain colors better than the old Delicious. The Golden Delicious and King David are good pollinizers. Ripens late September.

GOLDEN DELICIOUS - Very much like the Red Delicious in shape and quality. Bears young and prolific. Ripens late September.

MOLLY DELICIOUS - This variety comes highly recommended to us for Southern plantings. Very good flavor - colors well. This variety is grown as far south as Houston. Ripens late July-Mid August.

EIN SHEMER* - Yellow fruit with a slight tinge of blush. Refreshing, crisp, sweettart flavor. Large low chilling apple. Somewhat self pollinating, but yields improve when pollinated.

ANNA* - An early ripening crisp apple for warmer climates. Fruit is green overlaid with about 1/3 red blush. Requires only about 200 hours chilling, yet it has produced well at DeLeon. Requires pollinizer such as Dorsett Gold. Developed in Israel. Ripens in July.


DORSETT GOLD*
- Medium size golden yellow apple for the warmer areas. Low chilling requirements. Upright growth. Crisp, firm, sweet flesh. Self-fruitful. Good for pollinizing the Anna. Ripens in July. 2 - 3' ONLY $12.50 EACH




MUTSU
- Large, round, yellow fruit. Crunchy flesh, juicy. A very good dessert and processing apple. Stores well. Ripens late Aug.

JUJUBE APPLES

Alkaline soils answer to apples

LI JUJUBE - Deciduous tree with a graceful, gnarled form. Tree is many branched, yet narrow and upright. Prefers sandy, well drained soil. Fruit is about 1" long, round plump with a small pit. It can be eaten fresh or dried. Partially self-fruitful or pollenized by Lang Jujube.

LANG JUJUBE - Deciduous attractive tree that is more upright and spreading than the Li Jujube. Produces heavy crops of larghe pear shaped fruit. Needs to be planted with the Lki for maximum sized fruit. Fruit is incredibly tasty when fully ripe, but not until then.
